Special Issue: “Philosophy of Humor and Humorous Philosophy”

The Lighthearted Philosophers’ Society is collaborating with the Florida Philosophical Review for a special issue on the philosophy of humor. Acceptances will not be limited to Lighthearted Philosophers’ Society members, and interested contributors are encouraged to submit papers on any topic related to philosophy of humor, philosophy of comedy, or witty papers from any area of philosophy. Possible topics include:

All submissions will be subjected to anonymous review and should be prepared accordingly. Submissions should be 4,000 to 8,000 words in length (including all notes and references). Submissions should be accompanied by a separate file containing an abstract of 200 to 400 words and all relevant author information. All manuscripts must be submitted in electronic format by e-mail to the guest editors at firstname.lastname@example.org. Manuscripts should adhere to the Florida Philosophical Review guidelines concerning layout and style, which are available here http://philosophy.cah.ucf.edu/fpr/submissions.php.
